James Norton and Niamh Algar as parents caught in a life-changing situation.
The series follows Pete (James Norton) and Maddie (Niamh Algar), parents who learn their toddler was switched at birth. A hospital error connects them with Miles (James McArdle) and Lucy (Jessica Brown Findlay), the biological parents of their child. The couples initially attempt to find a mutual solution, but hidden motives soon emerge.
Playing Nice is based on the novel by JP Delaney. Grace Ofori-Attah adapted the story for television. The psychological thriller delves deep into the emotions and ethics surrounding parenthood and identity.
