PM Modi casts vote in Gujarat, says everyone should vote in large numbers and celebrate the festival of democracy
third phase of voting commenced for 18th Lok Sabha polls on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on casted his vote at Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Prime Minister was welcomed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah when he arrived at Nishan Higher Secondary School.
«Today is the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. I appeal to everyone to cast their vote in this democracy. The election campaign will run for three to four weeks more. I always cast my vote here in Gujarat. (Union Minister) Amit Shah is contesting the election from here as a BJP candidate. I came here yesterday from Andhra Pradesh and need to go to Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana (today),” said PM Modi after casting his vote.
Along with rising temperature in the country, PM Modi urged the voters to drink more water. „It will be good for your health and will also give you energy...,“ said the PM.
