Pawan Kalyan, who recently completed a spiritual pilgrimage across South India, was dressed in saffron and yellow cotton attire, a reflection of his ongoing Deeksha (religious observance). His outfit drew PM Modi’s attention, leading to a playful exchange between the two.
Revealing the conversation, Kalyan told the press, “The prime minister always jokes with me. Today, he looked at my outfit and asked if I was planning to leave everything behind and head to the Himalayas.”
The actor-turned-politician, who had recently taken part in the Maha Kumbh, reassured Modi that his political journey was far from over. “There’s still work to do,” he remarked, adding humorously that the Himalayas could wait.
