Poor Things OTT: Digital release date, where to watch?
Poor Things" is all set to be released on OTT streaming platform in March. Emma Stone-starrer has received Academy nominations for as many as 11 categories. These include lead actress, best picture and director for filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, as per a report in Variety.
The film, which also features Willem Dafoe and Willem Dafoe, will premier on Hulu on March 7.
While 'Hulk' star Ruffalo has bagged Oscars 2024 nomination for best supporting actor. Apart from this, movie has received nominations for production design, original score, cinematography, production design, costume design, film editing, and makeup and hairstyling.
35-year-old Stone, who plays the titular character in the acclaimed Yorgos Lanthimos film ‘Poor Things’, revealed that she initially doubted that she would be able to live up to the part.
The film, which is based on the novel by Alasdair Gray, talks about a young woman named Bella Baxter in Victorian London, who comes to life through a brain transplant and embarks on a journey of self-discovery.
The actress, who was feted with the Best Actress in a Leading Role at the BAFTAs, talked about how she was eventually able to overcome her concerns with support from the director.
