Premier League schedule, fixture for 2024-25: What we know so far
Premier League fixtures for the forthcoming season have been revealed, making this one of the most thrilling moments of the summer.
The 20 Premier League teams are now known, with Southampton joining Leicester City and Ipswich Town following their promotion.
The 38-game season will begin on August 17, 2024, and run through May 25, 2025. On December 24, Christmas Eve, there will be no games. This is part of the festive fixture program.
Premier League Fixtures Release Date
On Tuesday, June 18, at 4 am (ET), the Premier League schedule for the 2024–25 season will be revealed, as reported by NBC sports.
No Midseason break
This season, the Premier League won't have a midseason break.
In order to allow the season to begin in mid-August, the Premier League made the decision to eliminate the midseason break. Players can now take three complete weeks off in the summer.
As per the Premier League website, experts from medical and technical departments believe a longer rest period in the summer is more valuable than a short break in the winter.
Season start and end dates
The season will start on August 17, 2024.
The final day, called Championship Sunday, will be on May 25, 2025, with all 10 games starting at the same time.
