Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday registered a thumping win in Chhattisgarh elections by clinching 54 of the total 90 seats and restricting the reigning Congress party to 35 seats.
Now, all eyes are on the party as the 'janata janardhan' awaits answer for the pivotal question: Who will be the Chief Minister?
Notably, the party has maintained a strategic silence, refraining from publicly endorsing any specific candidate for the prestigious position in the aftermath of this year's assembly polls. It has not announced the candidates for the top post in the other two states, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, where it emerged victorious.
