Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony at the newly constructed Ram temple. The ceremony, which will include the Ramotsav and pran pratishtha rituals, is set to take place tomorrow with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the main yajman.
After the rituals, Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and CM Yogi Adityanath will address a public meeting. Despite the state government and the Temple Trust advising devotees to plan their trips after the ceremony, hundreds are still arriving in the hope of being allowed to stay in the holy town on the D-Day.
Ahead of the much-awaited consecration ceremony, the Ram temple is seen in all its glory, bringing a sense of Treta Yug to Ayodhya.
The city is adorned with flower offerings, with around nine tonnes being recycled daily.
The temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has invited over 7,000 people to the ceremony, including Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, and industrialists. People from across the country have been arriving in Ayodhya since January 14 to be part of the festivities leading up to the ceremony on January 22.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to land in Ayodhya on Monday at 10:30 am and will remain in the city for over five hours to be the main yajman at the pran pratishtha ceremony.
The consecration rituals will begin at 12:20 am, and the final ritual of pran pratishtha will take place in just 84 seconds within the presence of the PM. Following the consecration, Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and CM Yogi Adityanath will address a public meeting at 1:15 pm.
