Aerospace and defence technology manufacturing startup Rangsons Aerospace has raised Rs 300 crore from ValueQuest Investment Advisors.
The Mysuru-based company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its operational capacity and drive growth into new business areas through strategic acquisitions.
This is the first investment by ValueQuest Tristar Fund, a Category II alternative investment fund (AIF) focused on thematic sectors such as defence, aerospace, and precision engineering.
Founded in 2011, Rangsons Aerospace, part of the Mysuru-based NR Group, operates three manufacturing facilities across Bengaluru and Mysuru. It supplies satellite communication systems, airborne thermal management solutions, and fluid distribution systems to global aerospace giants such as Boeing, GE, and Honeywell, as well as Indian entities such as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Indian Navy, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
In January 2024, Rangsons Aerospace signed a five-year contract with Boeing to supply tubes and ducts for its aerospace systems.
