Eminem is under severe criticism even as he recently released the first song titled “Houdini” from his upcoming album titled “The Death of Slim Shady”. The release of this song was on Friday at midnight. The singer is seen referring to the July 2020 shooting involving Meghan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez.

The lyrics that were released, read in the following manner: “If I was to ask Meghan Thee/Stallion if she would collab with me /Would I really have a shot at a feat? /I don’t know but I am glad to be.”

Many took to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) to express their outrage at the lyrics which were deemed to be inappropriate and insensitive.

One critic wrote asking if it was too tough to respect black women. He contended that it had become a practice to disrespect black women. He added asking if it was too much to stop Eminem from making light of an incident in which Meghan was a victim of gun violence. He even pointed out that this is the black music month.
