Ravi Kishan, the renowned actor-turned-politician, recently opened up about the challenges he faced in his relationship with his father and his journey to success in the entertainment industry. In a candid interview with Brut, Kishan revealed shocking details about his turbulent past.
The actor disclosed that his father, a priest by profession, had a difficult time accepting his artistic aspirations. Kishan's decision to perform in the Ram Leela was met with strong disapproval, leading to conflicts within the family. Recounting the intense situation, he shared, «My father was beating me very badly and he was hammering me. He wanted to kill me, and my mother was aware that her husband is capable of killing me and he will not hesitate because priests have less emotions. So she said ‘bhaag jao’».
Despite the initial strife, Kishan acknowledged the valuable lessons he learned from his father's strict upbringing. «He was a priest and being a Brahmin, he always wanted me to do farming or become a priest or do some government job.
