Razorpay on Tuesday launched its own UPI infrastructure with 'UPI Switch', a cloud-based innovation in partnership with Airtel Payments Bank, and said the solution is geared to ensure smoother and faster transactions. Boosting success rates by 4-5 per cent, the solution is designed to handle up to 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) at any given time, according to a release. The 'UPI Switch' will also enable 5 times faster access to UPI (Unified Payments Interface) innovations for businesses, it added.
