In a series of tweets, the American businessman — who is expecting his second baby with legendary tennis player Serena Williams — said that having the most successful career in the world cannot make up for losing out on the time to hang out with children.
The 40-year-old said that a lot of new-generation of CEOs have started noticing this and have decided to be good fathers, partners and leaders. «It's like a whole new era of fatherhood is emerging – we are trying to do our best work, but show up in ways our dads didn't (or couldn't),» he wrote.
The soon-to-be father-of-two said that dads must remember one thing — «it’s a harmony, not a balance.» While he is currently finding that harmony, it brings Ohanian comfort that there's a whole generation of CEOs, founders and dads who are finding it with him.Snapdeal co-founder Kunal Bahl, who is also a father of two, was among several bosses who agreed with Ohanian's views.
