Replica of White House: the Western White House in California sells for a whopping $23 million
Alex Buljan, a White House replica in Hillsborough, California, sold for $23 million just in time for the presidential election.
The approximately 24,400-square-foot house outside of San Francisco, dubbed the Western White House, sold for $38.9 million in June 2023, as quoted in a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Mehrdad Elie, a real estate investor, and his wife, Neda Elie, were the sellers. In 2022, they paid $15 million for the property. A request for comment on the sale was not answered by the Elies.

Buljan, who showed his father and coworker Pierre Buljan the listing, refused to reveal the buyer's identity.
