Disney+ is all set to premiere Rivals on October 18, which is an adaptation of Jilly Cooper's novel. A full-length trailer of this series has been launched.
Plot
The series will reflect the intense rivalry between two powerful figures in the world of television. Alex Hassell will portray the character of Rupert Campbell-Black who is an Olympian and MP. David Tennant will play the role of Tony Baddingham, who is the neighbor of Rupert Campbell-Black. With the plotline rooted in cutthroat media politics, the show promises an exciting blend of personal conflict, ambition and drama.
