In the largecap segment, 15 companies witnessed significant block deals that were worth Rs 8,026 crore led by Mankind Pharma which saw equity worth Rs 2,639 crore changing hands. The next in line were IndusInd Bank (Rs 895 crore), Axis Bank (Rs 816 crore), HDFC Life Insurance (Rs 614 crore), Reliance Industries (Rs 570 crore), State Bank of India (Rs 548 crore), Mahindra & Mahindra (Rs 348 crore), and Kotak Mahindra Bank (Rs 243 crore).
Sun Pharmaceuticals, NTPC, Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Grasim Industries also saw block deals between Rs 240 crore and Rs 146 crore.
The data has been compiled by brokerage firm Nuvama and pertains to deals done this week between 8:45 am and 3:30 pm.

In the midcap segment, a dozen companies witnessed prominent block deals on screen which were worth Rs 4,253 crore. The leader in the pack was Shriram Finance with a deal size of Rs 1,793 crore followed by IDFC First Bank (Rs 1,327 crore), Zee Entertainment (Rs 323 crore) and Max Healthcare (Rs 210 crore). The others were Delhivery, Macrotech Developers, Oberoi Realty, Policy Bazaar (PB Fintech), Colgate Palmolive, Max Financial, Sona BLW Precision and Tata Elxsi which saw deals between Rs 141 crore and 41 crore.
