social media app Telegram, details pertaining to the new F-35 Fighter Aircraft as well as the details of advanced drones sent shockwaves across the defense establishment. The Pentagon has rubbished these details. Fighterbomber which is the name of the military channel, claimed that it had 250 gigabytes of data pertaining to the US military including its fighter aircrafts. Russia has in the past has mounted cyber-attacks against the US and stole confidential and classified defense information.
The group on its Telegram channel shared Paveway guidance kits as well as drawings of the F-15 Eagle Fighter Jets. There were also technical details pertaining to the Joint Direct Attack Munitions which converts unguided weapons into precision guided weapons.
The next day after sharing the details, the group shared information on the F-35 Fighter Jets and other American made drones. The shared document contained an instructions manual. These F-35 Fighter Aircrafts have been manufactured by Lockheed Matin and are replacing other ageing fighter aircrafts such as the F-16 in many counties. It has been reported that over 18 countries have placed orders for this important aircraft. This is a fifth generation fighter aircraft.
