Sanjay Singh granted bail by SC after spending 6 months in jail in Delhi Excise Policy case

Supreme Court on Tuesday granted jailed Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh a bail during the pendency of a trial after the Enforcement Directorate said it had no objections. He was in custody amid ongoing money laundering probe in the Delhi excise policy scam case.
A bench of Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice P B Varale remarked earlier that he has spent six months in jail.
«Singh spent six months in jail.
The allegation of him receiving Rs 2 crore bribe can be tested during the trial,» SC said.
