Alastair Baker joined as multi-asset fund manager. He has 14 years' multi-asset investment experience.
Baker joined the firm in February this year and brings 14 years' investment experience to the role.
He previously worked at abrdn, where he was responsible for reviewing the firm's multi-asset investment capability. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Schroders working with a range of global pension funds, insurance companies and institutions.

Sarasin also added Cédric Phounpadith to its team, joining the firm as head of investment risk. He brings 13 years' risk management experience across all asset classes.
Brooks Macdonald London boss and investment director exits
Prior to this, Phounpadith worked at Vanguard, where he focused on equity index and multi-asset strategies. Before that, he held roles at HSBC Global Asset Management and Standard Life Investments.
