Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Energy & Utilities and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 9.19% or 15.80 points to trade at 187.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.14% or 0.01 points to end at 0.15 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) was up 4.22% or 0.72 points to 17.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212), which fell 6.36% or 8.20 points to trade at 120.80 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) declined 5.37% or 0.92 points to end at 16.22 and Bawan (TADAWUL:1302) was down 3.76% or 1.80 points to 46.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 205 to 75 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.19% or 15.80 to 187.80. Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.37% or 0.92 to 16.22. Shares in Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.22% or 0.72 to 17.78.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.03% or 0.74 to $72.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.18% or 0.91 to hit $78.32 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.70% or 34.40 to trade at $2,053.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.12% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
