SBI Focused Equity Fund, the largest focused fund by assets under management (AUM), has completed 19 years. The scheme manages an AUM of Rs 29,473.64 crore. The scheme was launched on September 17, 2004.
A lump sum investment of Rs 1 lakh at the time of inception, would be worth approximately Rs 26.88 lakh. That means the scheme has generated a CAGR of 18.91%.
In terms of SIP performance, an SIP of Rs 10,000 every month since inception, the investment would have grown to Rs 26.93 lakh now. In the 10-year horizon, the scheme offered a XIRR of 15.66%. The scheme is benchmarked against S&P BSE 500 TRI. The benchmark offered 15.3% in the same time period.
