SC has summoned Rajesh Kumar, additional chief secretary, revenue and forest department, Maharashtra, in person to explain why contempt proceedings should not be initiated against him.
A bench headed by justice BR Gavai summoned Kumar after observing that certain comments in the affidavit filed by him on behalf of the state were «prima facie contemptuous».
