Supreme Court has asked the Maharashtra assembly speaker to set a timeline for deciding pleas for disqualification of Shiv Sena MLAs of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's faction.
A bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud heard the case.
During the hearing, Chandrachud had commented that Speaker has to honour the dignity of the apex court, over the delay in deciding pleas for disqualification of Shiv Sena MLAs.
