If an investor had made a monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in HDFC Index Fund-BSE Sensex at the time of its inception, the current value would have been Rs 1.47 crore now in around 22 years with the XIRR of 13.70%. The scheme is the oldest scheme in this category.
A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in Tata BSE Sensex Index Fund would have been around Rs 1.28 crore in 21 years with an XIRR of 13.25% since inception. If an investor made a monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in LIC MF BSE Sensex Index Fund, the current value would have been Rs 1.20 crore in 22 years. The scheme offered an XIRR of 12.53% since inception.
A monthly investment of Rs 10,000 made in other Sensex-based passive funds would have been Rs 10.26 lakh to Rs 66.71 lakh now. These schemes would have offered XIRR ranging between 13.79% to 36.73%.
Axis BSE Sensex Index Fund which was launched in February 2024 has completed around 128 days in the market. The scheme has offered an XIRR of 52.70% which is mainly because of the short investment horizon.
