In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 97.71 points up at 22055.2.
On the BSE, KMG Milk Food, Texel Ind, Quint Digital Media, Maha Corp Ltd and JNK India hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ras Resorts, Commercial Engg, Hindustan Zinc, Amaze Entertech and Vijaya Diagnostic touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
