In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 99.61 points up at 25151.95.
On the BSE, Shashijit Infraprojects, Ellora Trading Ltd., Globale Tessile, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil and Shiva Suitings hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Jainex Aamcol, Bhagawati Oxygen, Gowra Leasing, Cybertech Sys and Bella Casa Fashion touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
