Mark, the main character played by Adam Scott, starts uncovering a corporate conspiracy that blurs the lines between these two separate realities. Turturro mentioned that the upcoming episodes will «take a step forward» in character development, offering viewers new insights into their complexities.

Reports indicate that each episode of Severance Season 2 will cost $20 million, highlighting Apple's investment in one of its most successful series. Severance was created by Dan Erickson, with Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle directing the first season.
Season 2 will bring back the main cast, including Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette. Additionally, new faces like Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Bob Balaban and Merritt Wever will join the cast.
