Jawan' craze has caught everyone by surprise.
The fanbase of superstar Shah Rukh Khan has made 'Jawan' the fastest Hindi movie to cross the Rs 500 crore-mark at the box office.
The makers announced on Monday that the blockbuster action-thriller had entered the Rs 500 crore club on its opening weekend. In fact, it is also the fastest Hindi film to enter this prestigious club.
Production house Red Chillies Entertainment took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share that 'Jawan' minted Rs 520.79 crore (gross) at the worldwide box-office on its opening weekend.

The movie, which hit the theatres on September 7, was released in three languages — Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
According to experts, the pan-India film has set a new record as it registered the biggest single-day collection in India for any Bollywood film to date.
Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan said that the SRK created a new record by becoming the only actor to have two Rs 500 crore films in a single year after the grand success of 'Pathaan'.
On Day 1 (Thursday) and Day 2 (Friday, the movie made Rs 125.05 crore and Rs 109.24 cr, respectively. During the weekend, the blockbuster kept the cash registers ringing with Rs 140.17 crore and Rs 156.80 crore on Day 3 (Saturday) and Day 4 (Sunday), respectively.
Manobola also said that the blockbuster action-thriller sold a record 28,75,961 lakh tickets — the highest for any Bollywood film to date — in India on the fourth day.
Sharing numbers of the Hindi version of 'Jawan', film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the movie entered the Rs 250 crore club in four days.
