Narendra Modi is set to take oath for a third consecutive term on Sunday (June 9), matching the feat of the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, amid tense negotiations between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership and allies over the share of berths for various National Democratic Alliance (NDA) constituents in the new government.

Bollywood celebrities Shahrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Rajinikanth, as well as businessmen Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani, were present at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet's swearing-in event on Sunday.
Top industrialists Mukesh Ambani, his sons Anant and Akash, and son-in-law Anand Piramal were present, as was Gautam Adani, who was joined by his brother Rajesh Adani and wife Priti.
Along with his spouse, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud was also present. Pratibha Patil and Ram Nath Kovind, two former presidents, were also present.
