Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

The NSE Nifty index traded 79.8 points up at 24536.95, while BSE Sensex was 301.66 points at 81147.41 as of 10:44AM(IST)on December 04.

In the Nifty index, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.73 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent) were among the top losers.
