In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.22 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.39 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.20 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.17 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.16 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.16 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
