The NSE Nifty index was trading 23.71 points down at 22098.55, while BSE Sensex was up 35.19 points at 72743.35 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 3.42 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.65 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent) were among the top gainers.
