Share price of Adani Power jumps as Sensex drops 43.75 points
Adani Power Ltd. gained 3.13 per cent to Rs 245.5 at 10:20AM (IST) in Tuesday's trade. The stock hit a high of Rs 246.45 and low of Rs 235.7 so far during the session.
The stock had closed at Rs 238.05 in the previous session. The counter had a total traded volume of 10:20AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 979.0 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 8.81 and a price-to-book ratio of 4.5.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
