Share price of Bajaj Holdings jumps as Sensex gains 429.0 points

The stock had closed at Rs 7499.65 in the previous session. The counter had a total traded volume of 10:05AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 1621.0 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 17.4 and a price-to-book ratio of 1.49.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
