Share price of GAIL rises as Nifty strengthens

The stock of GAIL (India) Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 122.85 and Rs 83.0, respectively.

Promotor/FII Holding Promoters held 51.91 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while overseas investors held 16.09 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 18.05 per cent.
Key Financials The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 33000.79 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, down 2.23 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 33753.23 crore and down 13.13 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 37987.96 crore.
Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 1791.85 crore, down 44.92 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
