Cristy Cox, the original videographer, recounted the intense moment to the Pensacola News Journal, stating, «It all happened so fast! At first, a dolphin was swimming alongside the shark and then suddenly vanished.» Cox further explained, «The shark was simply engaged in its natural feeding behavior and passed by the swimmers. It stunned everyone as it continued down the beach, pursuing a school of fish.
