SIDBI ET MSME Conclave is now set to enter Punjab. The third session is scheduled to be held in Ludhiana on January 19.
The conclave is a series of events being held across the country with the aim to bring together micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs), policymakers and ecosystem enablers.

The first two sessions were held in Indore and Bhubaneswar. Those events had a stellar turnout and were abuzz with participants discussing ideas and policies, and exploring networking opportunities.
These programmes aim to catalyse the next wave of growth opportunities, foster knowledge exchange, enable networking and help to tackle challenges, for sustainable growth in Indian MSMEs.
The upcoming session in Ludhiana will see engaging panel discussions and fireside chats with MSME representatives, entrepreneurs and other industry stakeholders. The topics will range from empowering MSMEs to their holistic expansion. There is also an exclusive chat expected with Ishita Thaman, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana, on “Atmanirbhar Punjab: Decoding the Blueprint for Holistic MSME Expansion”.
The programme will also be a platform for small businesses of the city to connect with peers, experts and industry leaders.
Ludhiana is widely known for its textile and hosiery business, along with bicycle manufacturing. Some of the well-known brands from Ludhiana are Vardhaman, Duke Fashion and Hero Cycles.
According to Punjab Eco Survey 2023, the city has emerged as the largest manufacturing cluster in north India.
