While he is an established musician in the industry, did you know that he is a National Olympiad gold medalist in Mathematics and holds a degree in engineering? Reportedly, the singer did not have a great time convincing his parents about his career choice.
In an old interview, Badshah had once revealed that he was “ultimate” at Mathematics. He confessed that he was a National Olympiad gold medalist in the subject. In the same interview, he revealed that his CAT score was 98.25 per cent in DI (Data Interpretation) without any preparation. He further expressed his love for the subject and “problem solving”.
Before diving into music, Badshah studied civil engineering and even worked as a civil engineer. Reflecting on that phase, he mentioned attending St. Stephen's College briefly before transferring to an engineering college. After graduating, he worked on construction sites, complete with a safety helmet, but realized it wasn't his passion. Eventually, music became his focus, and he never looked back.
