Speaking on the initiative, Gangwar highlighted, «PWD will establish collaboration with other departments, including the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC), to compile a comprehensive list of roads plagued by potholes. They will ensure immediate commencement of repair work on these troubled roads.»
During a divisional-level meeting convened by divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob, PWD officials were directed to conduct a thorough survey of all pothole-ridden roads.
Their task also includes assessing the structural integrity and the quality of materials used for road construction.
