Squid Game season 1 left you wanting more, then you are in better luck. Netflix's most-watched series of all time is set to return for its long-awaited second season, with Player 456 back for revenge.
There is another round of lethal games in store as Netflix announced the show's return for a Season 2. It was not at all a surprise as Squid Game Season 1 became 'Netflix's biggest series launch ever' with over 111 million viewers.
Streaming later this month, the Korean thriller centres around a deadly survival game in which hundreds of players compete for the chance to win a 456 billion won cash prize.

In the season 2, the story of Squid Game will continue the story of the previous winner, Gi-hun, who returns to take revenge and put an end to the games once and for all. The series hails from Hwang Dong-hyuk, who made history at the 74th Emmys by becoming the first Asian to win the award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
