SS Rajamouli and his son SS Karthikeya recently encountered a moment of alarm during their visit to Japan, where they experienced an earthquake. The incident took place on Thursday when Japan was struck by an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.3.

Was on the 28th floor and slowly the ground started to move and took us a while to realise it was an earthquake. I was just about to panic but all the Japanese around did not budge as if it just started to rain!!! Experience an earthquake box ticked.»
Despite the initial shock, Karthikeya noted the composed reaction of the local Japanese residents, who continued their activities as if it were a routine occurrence. This contrasted with the momentary panic felt by the visitors.
The post sparked concern among fans, who expressed relief that the Rajamouli family and their team were safe. Messages flooded in, with one fan saying, «I'm relieved to hear that you are safe, enjoy the rest of your stay!!»
