According to The Hill, during his show, Stephen A. Smith emphasized on the fact that the optics were problematic due to the history of negative remarks made about US President- elect Donald Trump by former US President Barack Obama during previous campaigns. He also quoted some of the harsh language used against Donald Trump which included terms like ‘fascist’ and ‘threat to democracy’.
