Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Agro Phos(up 4.11%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.70%), G S F C(up 2.47%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.73%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.43%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.37%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.31%), Aries Agro(up 1.14%), National Fertilizer(up 1.14%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 1.06%) were among the top gainers.
Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.92%) and Coromandel International(down 0.32%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 7.65 points up at 19401.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 12.41 points at 65228.5 at around 10:04AM.
HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 3.26%), Adani Enterprises(up 2.45%), SBI Life(up 1.87%), NTPC(up 0.91%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.71%), ITC(up 0.69%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.54%), Axis Bank(up 0.45%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.33%) and Tata Motors(up 0.31%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 1.1%), Cipla(down 0.71%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.65%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.64%), LTIMindtree Ltd(down 0.61%), Infosys(down 0.48%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.47%), Nestle India(down 0.43%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.41%) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.37%) were trading in the red.
