Stock market update: Mining stocks down as market falls

Lexus Granito(up 1.99%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 1.58%) and Oriental Trimex(up 1.33%) were among the top gainers.
Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 2.50%), MOIL(down 2.18%), Ashapura Minechem(down 1.92%), Pokarna(down 1.64%), KIOCL(down 1.29%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 1.17%), NMDC Ltd(down 1.03%), Aro Granite Industries(down 0.83%) and Coal India(down 0.50%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 138.6 points down at 19248.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 449.29 points at 64803.05 at around 11:00AM.
Bajaj Finserv(up 1.32%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.61%), Bajaj Finance(up 0.46%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.21%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.14%) and Asian Paints(up 0.08%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 2.33%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.72%), State Bank of India(down 1.59%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.55%), Adani Enterprises(down 1.5%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 1.29%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.14%), HDFC Bank(down 1.13%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.1%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.05%) were trading in the red.
