Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises

20 Microns(up 4.97%), Oriental Trimex(up 2.05%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 1.51%), Ashapura Minechem(up 1.36%), Aro Granite Industries(up 0.86%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.82%), KIOCL(up 0.74%), Pokarna(up 0.56%), Coal India(up 0.34%) and Lexus Granito(up 0.26%) were among the top gainers.
MOIL(down 0.37%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 0.32%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 36.1 points up at 19564.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 121.0 points at 65749.14 at around 10:24AM.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.38%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.34%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.2%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.2%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.08%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.06%), ITC Ltd.(up 0.92%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.85%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 0.83%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.78%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.9%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.8%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.64%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.53%), Dr.
