Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 2.49%), CESC Ltd.(up 0.76%), ACME Solar Holdings Ltd.(up 0.32%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.20%) stood among the top gainers.
Inox Wind Ltd.(down 7.30%), KEC International Ltd.(down 6.97%), Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 5.49%), NTPC Green Energy Ltd.(down 5.15%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(down 5.00%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(down 5.00%), Reliance Power Ltd.(down 4.85%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(down 4.49%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(down 4.25%) and Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 4.02%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 2.5 points down at 22545.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 10.31 points at 74612.43.
Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 5.67%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.7%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.56%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.11%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.02%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.7%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.24%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.21%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.19%) and Wipro Ltd.(up 1.1%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
