Stock market update: Power stocks up as market rises

Jaiprakash Power Ventures(up 19.21%), Inox wind(up 8.46%), Reliance Power(up 7.40%), Inox Wind Energy(up 5.83%), Suzlon Energy(up 4.96%), Orient Green Power Company(up 4.95%), RTNPOWER(up 4.93%), Jyoti Structures(up 4.86%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 3.07%) and DPSC(up 2.10%) were among the top gainers.
KEC International(down 2.48%), Kalpataru Projects International(down 1.18%), NLC India(down 0.96%), Hitachi Energy India(down 0.68%) and Voltamp Transformers(down 0.03%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 132.2 points up at 19362.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 429.18 points at 64792.96 at around 10:24AM.
Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.39%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 2.07%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.99%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.93%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.6%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.47%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.38%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.36%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.13%) and NTPC Ltd.(up 1.13%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
