Stock market update: Power stocks up as market rises

NLC India Ltd.(up 4.82%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 4.00%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 3.18%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(up 3.08%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(up 2.94%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 2.39%), JSW Energy Ltd.(up 1.87%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 1.69%), PTC India Ltd.(up 1.50%) and Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(up 1.17%) were among the top gainers.

Reliance Power Ltd.(down 4.87%), GE T&D India Ltd.(down 3.11%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 2.66%), Inox Wind Ltd.(down 1.80%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(down 1.75%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(down 1.70%), RattanIndia Power Ltd.(down 1.10%), Adani Power Ltd.(down 0.96%), CESC Ltd.(down 0.95%) and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.(down 0.90%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 50.75 points up at 22693.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 182.74 points at 74866.44 at around 11:20AM.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.12%), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.45%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.59%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.53%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.45%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.42%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.06%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.0%), UPL Ltd.(up 0.89%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.82%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand,
