GE Power India Ltd.(up 5.00%), Karma Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 4.96%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 4.96%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(up 4.70%), Indowind Energy Ltd.(up 4.68%), RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 4.00%), India Power Corporation Ltd.(up 3.26%), Inox Wind Ltd.(up 3.26%) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(up 3.25%) stood among the top gainers.

Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 3.92%), JSW Energy Ltd.(down 1.31%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(down 1.08%), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.89%), Torrent Power Ltd.(down 0.80%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.66%), Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 0.30%), Adani Green Energy Ltd.(down 0.06%) and Adani Power Ltd.(down 0.05%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 126.0 points at 24340.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 426.85 points at 79942.18.
Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.24%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 3.09%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.55%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.03%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.91%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.76%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.72%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.44%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.92%) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.84%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
