Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE
Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 29.96 points to 22432.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Lakshmi Precis, Euro India Fresh, 3rd Rock MultiMedia, Norben Tea Exp and Mask Investments, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 22 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Auto, IndusInd Bank and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, SBI Life and Bajaj Finserv traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 99.65 points down at 73914.9 at 10:24AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Media & Entertainment, Packaging and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in FMCG, Agro Processing, IT Software, Defence and Construction sectors.
