Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 33.1 points up at 20103.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Penta Gold, Dangee Dums, Brookfield India Rea and Blue Coast Hotel, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 31 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, UPL, Hindalco, ONGC, M&M and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, ITC, Coal India Ltd, Britannia and LTIMindtree ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 52.01 points up at 67519.0.
Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, Sugar, Telecommunications, Beverages — Alcoholic and Metals — Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Power, Building Materials, Irrigation & Allied Services and Tobacco sectors during the day.
